Andrew Krance, a contemporary artist, spent most of his life submerged in painting and music.
He painted in New York City, Paris, and other parts of the world. Krance's travels and experiences were all part of developing his multifaceted impressions of art including surrealism, impressionism, and various forms of expressionism.
His studies at the University of Wisconsin and Mexico City College awarded him two Master of Fine Arts degrees.
"The thing about art," says Krance, currently a resident of Wesley Chapel, Florida, " is that it is such a personal thing. You don't always know why you like or dislike a work of art, you just know you do or don't."
Over the years, with encouragement from such greats as Andy Warhol, Dale Chihuly, Milton Resnick, Leo Castelli, and many more celebrities, Krance continues his quest to always produce just one more exciting work of art. Having sold his work to numerous art collectors, Krance discovered a way to produce beautifully executed images of his paintings, applying them onto plush blankets.
Though not the same as owning an original Krance painting, the now very affordable blankets become available to anyone who loves his work and simply would like to have a blanket or two with Krance's creative artwork.
You will find the colors remain stunning and the blankets, whether a cover for a bed, as a throw for a cool evening, or as a piece of artistic decoration. These are great for yourself as well as a gift.
